Tribute to Pierre Cottet |
|
Pierre Cottet passed away on August 9 2020. An outstanding mechanic he restored most of my machines. A screw is missing he remade it identically. He reconstructed my Idealophone s coin system and so much more.
For example I asked him to make me a copy of a Phrynis reproducer. I provided him with the model mica and paper. This is the result imagine that all the parts were made by him and of course the cutting of the needle holder.
4 years ago he was still on his knees in his workshop to remake a spring for me. He gave new life to many devices including music boxes, clocks.
Thank you Pierre without you my collection would not be what it is.
